TV-production at Schloss Drachenburg in May 2019

Visiting around the upcoming tv-production

Due to filming for a major television production, there are restrictions on visiting Drachenburg Castle over the next two weeks.

On the construction days on May 12th and 13th, visitors may occasionally find diversions in individual castle areas.

From 14 to 17 May and on 20 and 21 May, the castle is used by the film production and can be visited only in a limited extent. On 14, 15 and 16 May, the museum part of the castle will be closed.

The park, the "Wagenhalle" with the exhibition on the history of nature conservation in Germany, the North Tower and the current special exhibition in the entrance building "heimt.nrw" can be visited during all shooting days.

On Saturday, 18th and Sunday, May 19th, a visit to Schloss und Park Drachenburg is possible.

The dismantling of the set is planned until May 23. Here the castle inspection is possible. Again, there may be individual, short-term restrictions.
