The castle and park will be closed from 16th to 31st December 2024. From 1st January 2025 we will be there for you again as usual. We wish all our guests a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We would like to point out that parts of the landscape park, the terraces and the north tower involves the negotiation of steps or stairways. The exhibition rooms of the castle can be visited by physically disabled people and wheelchair users with the help of our staff.

Animals are not allowed inside the castle.

Admission to the historical rooms of the noble level, insights to parts of the private floor, the parkland, permanent exhibitions of the castle history and restoration and the North Tower.

What is the daily work of a maid in a castle in the 19th century? Ask our tour guide Gaby Brennig. This tour will show you a lot of interesting and surprising things about a servants life in the late 1880s.

Five o'clock tea at Schloss Drachenburg
Take a look “behind the scenes” of a 19th century castle and learn about interesting stories about the life upstairs and downstairs. After that you are going to enjoy a tea time and our tour guide Gaby Brennig will give you an inside look on british tourists on their grand tours, the workflow of a proper household and society rules in the 19th century.
